Frequently Asked Questions
Can you replace my car key if I have no spare at all?
Yes. An all-keys-lost job takes a little longer because we have to read the security data from the lock, OBD port or directly from the EEPROM, but we can generate a brand-new working key without the original and delete the lost one from memory.
Do you program the immobiliser chip as well as cut the key?
Always. A cut key with no coded transponder will turn the barrel but the immobiliser will block the engine from starting. We pair the chip to your vehicle so the key both unlocks the doors and starts the car.
How much cheaper is this than the main dealer?
For most vehicles we are around 30 to 50 percent less than a franchise dealer, and we come to you the same day rather than making you book the car in and wait for parts to be ordered.
Will the new remote fob lock and unlock the doors?
Yes. We supply genuine-quality remote fobs and synchronise the rolling code with your central locking, so the buttons operate the doors, boot and alarm exactly like your original remote.
